Tacteel
, Surkin and Out One were playing at La Condition Publique (Roubaix), last night. This first iteration of the Institubes Paris Terror Club, was kindly invited by the Unchi design collective, for the inauguration of their POPnFLOPn exhibition (which includes the works of Superdeux, Geneviève Gauckler, the Skull Dezain among others).

For his first live solo set in France, a berserk long haired
Tacteel delivered a solid hour of filtered / glitched / hammered Dance with his own touch of unexpectable. Those who thought they were going to hear him let slip a single minute of linearity out of his hardware obviously don't remember his performances as one half of Institubes' radical monster FuckALoop. (but maybe we'll help you on that in a not-so-distant future) Then Out One raised his sword towards the sky, got hit by lightning, and entered this familiar stage in where you just can't talk to him until he's finished offering the whole spectrum of House music to the audience, subgenre after subgenre. Took him two hours, with the whole crowd under his control. Surkin started with personal anthem Ghetto Obsession, then cut to shreds two hours of dancefloor material with an Ableton chainsaw, making the experience only comparable to the power of twelve Boeing engines propelling a bicycle.
